Vision Board Vibes

Happy SaturYAY!

I hope everyone had a fab Christmas yesterday!  Still crazy to believe that it has come and gone already!

Alright, I don’t know about y’all, but in order for me to cope with the fact that Christmas has come and gone, I like to look ahead and what better way to do that than to make a vision board for 2016?!

Although I completely agree with the concept of New Years Resolutions {{a time to reflect, set goals, and look forward}}, I feel like they’ve become a bit fad-ish.  I am guilty of it myself where I set these goals, but I don’t always hold myself to them.  So in order to help myself out this year {{and maybe inspire you as well?!}}, I’m going to try a new approach.  I’ve thought about what inspires me {{quotes, pictures, etc.}} and what goals I plan to achieve and then boom, it dawned on me.  Vision board + goals = success.

As I was exploring this revolution of mine, I thought about the last time I really sat down to day dream about what my future looked like and I realized it has been years.  I think about what I want and I just sort of try and make it happen the best I can.  Although this has been successful for me and made me happy, I really want to work on bettering myself and focus in on the specifics of my goals.  I also remembered that when I was younger, I had a couple bulletin boards up in my room with pictures, quotes, and magazine covers and these inspired me and made me smile.  So I figured, why not try the ‘big girl version’ of a vision board and align them with my goals?!

The great thing about vision boards too is that you can add to these throughout the year.  As you are inspired by new things, add them to your vision board!

• And now, for my “final” vision board for 2016! •

This is my first vision board since my teen years, so what do y’all think??  Have y’all ever made a vision board?!  What are you favorite things to include??  Please share below!

AS ALWAYS, please share this post with your family & friends via Social Media.
