Hello lovely people!
So if you follow me on IG, then you know that in my IG story last night I mentioned starting a personal training program and that program starts this AM. I am so excited & can’t wait to see results while learning so much and I’m even more pumped to share it with y’all!
Today I want to share with y’all how I stay feeling fierce. You know those days where you just are like “Yes. I’ve got this.” Why not have more of those? Sure we all have our struggle days, but if you’re looking to have more non-struggle days, then maybe some of my tips can help?!
My tips to staying fierce:
1 – Make time for yourself. Whether it’s working out, taking a hot bath, walking your dog, online shopping, meditating, jotting down your goals, etc. whatever it is, try to make some sort of time for yourself every.day. Yes. Every day. You deserve it! Take at least 10 mins to free your mind and do what makes you happy.
2 – Believe in yourself. This is much easier said than done, but you should believe in yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself, how do you expect anyone else to believe in you and take you serious?! Whether you’re trying to start your own business or stick to a fitness and nutrition plan or financial plan, you have to believe that you. can. do. it. And if you do this, it will and can happen y’all.
3 – Add some routine to your life. This is much easier said than done, BUT I have found that when I have a routine and schedule to stick to (at least 90% of the time) then I have better days. Of course things get thrown at us randomly, that’s just life, but if you have a schedule/routine where you are expected to show up and that you’re looking forward to, this will make your days better and therefore you will be happier and feel like you can conquer anything.
4 – Look your best to feel your best. How do you do this? Wear what makes you happy. Of course with certain jobs there are dress codes, etc. BUT if this applies to you, you can still find things that make you happy to wear and feel great within the specific guidelines. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – when you feel your best, you’re going to perform your best!
5 – Speak your mind. Definitely stick up for yourself. Always. This sort of ties together all of the 4 steps below. Whether it’s with your wardrobe, routine, or just you respecting yourself & demanding that others respect you and your time – you speak your mind. This doesn’t mean you have to be rude. No. You can speak up for yourself in a positive, yet semi-sassy way, and still deliver your message in the correct way.
Now these steps can o f course take practice, but I have found that they work for me so I’m hoping they inspire you and can maybe work for you?! What do y’all think of these? Do you already practice some of these and if so which ones work for you? Which ones are you excited to implement into your life?! Share with us below! I’d love to hear what y’all think!
On another quick note, can we just talk about how gorgeous this top is?! It will be perfect for Holiday events! It can go with black denim like I’m wearing here or even with a skirt and/or some leather pants/leggings to really sass things up!
I cannot get over the gorgeous lace detail + the small keyhole detail on the back!
Also, these booties! Omg I’m obsessed. They were a purchase from NYC Fashion Week back in September and they’re so versatile and seriously comfortable!
I hope that y’all enjoyed this post & found it inspiring! Again, I’d love to hear your thoughts so please don’t hesitate to share in the comments!
