Teachin’ Up on a Tuesday

it’s tuesdayyy –

Today I am bringing you a teacher profile from Mrs. Molly Myer, my bestie since the 7th grade.  We met in gym class when it was time to choose a sit-ups partner and we were the last ones standing.  As we alternated holding each other’s feet to get in the minimum limit of sit-ups, we planned our first hang out day for that afternoon.  Needless to say, that afternoon we had some tater tots, Cheerwine, and AIM time and boom – our BFF era began.  To this day, she is still my bestie & teaches in Nashville.

Without further a-due – here is Mrs. Myer’s Teacher Profile.  Enjoy! ♥

  • What grade do you teach?  “2nd grade.”
  • What is your favorite part of teaching? “I love the interactions with my students; building relationships and seeing them grow throughout the year.  It’s really cool watching them set goals and reach them.”
  • If you could give new teachers one piece of advice, what would it be?  “Your to-do list never ends.  You’ll never get it all done, but prioritize and always focus on what directly affects your students the most.”
  • What is your go-to shopping spot for teacher/professional attire?  “Loft and TJ for sure!”

I don’t know about y’all, but I completely agree from a prior teacher stand-point & now a woman in the world of sales that you are the most successful when you prioritize your to-do lists.  Somedays we have SO much to get done in the most limited time frame, and having your ducks in a row & prioritizing your tasks definitely helps!

Since I believe in the power of organization, naturally I love planners, to-do lists, and all types of notepads.  Check out & shop some of my favorites below〈all are under $50!〉.

What are some of your favorite ways to organize?  Do you have a special planner and/or to-do list that you are stuck on?  Feel free to leave your comments below and/or Tweet, Insta, or Facebook me using the hashtag: #teachinUPonatuesday – I look forward to hearing from y’all!

As always, please feel free to spread the missEtayla love with your family and friends & share this post via social media!

Special shout out and thanks to Mrs. Molly Myer – our teacher of the week!  We appreciate you & all of the great work you do with your students!  Keep on keepin’ on!!  #teachinuponatuesday

Until next time!
