Taylor Your Closet

Tayloring Style, Taylor Your Closet, Personal Styling, Wardrobe, Style Influencer, October

Since I was a young girl, I have loved fashion.  Putting outfits together, shopping, & organizing my closet were (and still are) my jams.  I soon realized that not only do I love doing all of the above for myself, but I also love doing it for others.  Over the years my family and friends have come to me for advice when it comes to their outfit selections.  Some have asked just about day-to-day looks while others have seeked advice on what to wear for a night out, for a special occasion, and even what to pack for certain trips.  I used to tell my parents all the time that I wish there was a way for me to make a living out of shopping & putting looks together for other people because I enjoy it so much.

Over the last two years, I’ve been focused on growing my blog & building my brand.  I put together looks with pieces that are versatile, affordable, and make me personally feel great.  In addition to these looks that I personally love, I offer other similar suggestions to my readers that they can put together depending on their particular style and/or events that they may have coming up in their own lives.  With that being said, I’ve given a lot of thought to providing my readers an exclusive chance to seek my advice on all things fashion, beauty, & lifestyle on a deeper level.

Here’s what I mean: have you ever been shopping and want a second opinion on what you’re trying on?  You text & send Snaps to your family and friends and either they’re busy or don’t have their phone on them so you are either stuck with something that you don’t absolutely love or you regret not buying what you knew in your heart you loved and made you feel like the confident & beautiful woman that you are.  As women, we do this (men, I’m sorry I don’t really have total insight on you yet with this), we tend to over-analyze.  From relationships to food to shoes, purses, dessert, you name it.  Wouldn’t you want one less thing to over-analyze?  If your answer is yes, then I have a solution for you!  I want to offer my services to be your personal stylist.  I want to inspire women to look and feel their best because let’s face it, when you know you look fierce you are ready to take on your day.  I don’t know about y’all, but I think we could use more of this feel good, do good kind of movement.  I want to help you pick out your looks for business trips, job interviews, dates, vacations, meeting your boyfriend’s parents, your honeymoon, whatever the occasion so that you feel and look your best.

Ideally the first place to start would be your closet.  Let’s see what fresh looks we can come up with using what you already own.  Then if you are looking for some new staple pieces, we can arrange a shopping date either in person (depending on location) or virtually via FaceTime, Skype, or Google Hangouts.  From there, when you are shopping out on your own, I can be your go-to person that you can text, Snapchat, or DM on Instagram to tell you “yes, that looks great” or “don’t you already have something similar? I would shoot for something like (insert circumstantial piece of clothing) to go with (insert piece of clothing).  Although family and friends are obviously great and hey they may know fashion too, but they get busy and can’t always give you an answer right away.  That’s where I come in for you.

If you are looking to up your closet game, make your shopping experiences more enjoyable, feel more confident about how great you look, and fully soak up the opportunities that life is presenting to you without worrying about what you’re wearing, then don’t put this off another day.  Let’s start working together to make you your best accessory!  Let’s Taylor Your Closet!
