…HAPPY FEBRUARY ♥
So, as I mentioned last week, I am currently taking classes at Carolina Barre & Core here in Charlotte for a month and bringing you updates each week! My first week went great. I am still really working on my curl ((pure core engagement)); however, one thing that I feel I have improved on a little in this curl position is that I can hold it a little bit longer each day! Baby steps, right? I am hoping to improve it even more over the next three weeks. I also tried my first Sports Fusion class at Carolina Barre this past Saturday. This particular class includes more cardio work. We did a lot of work with the medicine ball, which in a typical Barre Fusion class, you don’t use a medicine ball – instead you use regular 2, 3, or 5 lb weights. Not that the Barre Fusion class doesn’t challenge me each time, but since Saturday was my very first Sports Fusion class, of course it was challenging in a new way. It was fun and I can tell that different muscles and parts of my body were worked due to a different soreness on Sunday. I would definitely recommend trying a Sports Fusion class if you have not tried it before!
Naturally, with the Carolina Panthers playing in Super Bowl 50 next Sunday, it was only fair to support our Home Team at Carolina Barre & Core by wearing Panther colors to class yesterday. Carolina Barre even did a giveaway of a soft, navy blue long sleeve tee supporting their logo to one lucky winner who was sporting their Panthers colors! Woop woop! #KeepPounding
Stay tuned for another update next week ((hopefully after a SB50 WIN))!
AS ALWAYS, please feel free to spread the love of missEtayla and share this post with your family & friends via Social Media!
