..love is all around us.
Although I am not the biggest fan of Valentine’s ((or as my niece refers to it, “Valentime’s”)) Day, I must say, I do love all of the Valentine’s day decor, specials, etc. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to throw a “I hate Valentine’s Day” party or anything, because I do appreciate what it stands for, which according to History.com it’s a day that symbolizes true heroic, romantic gestures. Now all the single ladies, all the single ladies, is it safe to say that it’s becoming quite the task to find a man these days that makes A- a heroic gesture and B- a romantic gesture and C- BOTH?! Guys these days might think that their “clever” message on Tinder or Hinge will get the job done and make you LOL all over the place – but let’s be honest, these messages typically aren’t heroic, romantic, or clever in the slightest. Bless their hearts, geez.
The other day while I was on a sales call, I was talking with a group of women after a who are a little older than me and they were cracking up when I told them that when a guy actually calls these days instead of just texting, this can be a game changer! It’s like wait a secondddd. I mean this can be tough to find, right?? The callers at least get a chance. Maybe. Then, if you’re like me, you over think many other things before actually giving them a real chance – but that’s for another day.
