How was everyone’s weekend?! Mine was super relaxing. As y’all know I had some mad sniffles happening last week and thought I was getting better until I woke up Saturday feeling just ew. I Taylored a Closet and by the end of it I knew I needed to go home & rest up instead of going to my other two events that afternoon and although I am sad I missed out on those, I am V happy that I got in some rest because yesterday I was feeling much better & I hope it stays that way!
For a while, Denim and Chambray tops have been my jam, especially these softer ones they are coming out with these days. For this look I put this top with some of those Spanx leggings that have that leather-ish look (aka faux leather), but you can do a chambray top so many ways in the fall it’s unreal. You can put a cable knit sweater over it, wear it with a skirt and OTK books, or even put it with some black or maroon colored pants & flats for work. Once it gets a little cooler, you could even put it under a fur vest to wear with black jeans or a skirt or a longer cardigan for a more cozy look.
On a quick side note, I got these sunnies not too long ago at LOFT for under $10. I mean, deal of the quarter, am I right?!
This look could easily work with flats too, like black and/or leopard mules/regular flats OR even OTK boots if you’re feeling sassy. Depending on if you are going to work, dinner, or a night out – that could determine what shoe you wear.
Again, this has been my go-to weekend look for the past couple weekends. With the cooler temps in the evenings, these leggings keep me warm & are high-waisted, which we all know is comforting. Not only do I love a good go-to look on the weekends that is easy to throw on, but here are a few other things I love about weekends in the fall.
Fall Fun on the Weekends:
Cozy PJs & coffee out on a patio.
Watching Football (duh, I already mentioned that in my favorite fall things post, but I love this one so much I had to mention it again). Either on a patio with a fire going or at an actual game.
Sipping hot apple cider (or Stella Cidre) and catching up with a friend.
Taking basic pumpkin & leaves pics!
The perfect music playing outside by a fire at night & hanging with all the pals.
